The worksheet will be useful in two ways. Firstly, first-year students can brainstorm potential challenges that they will encounter in the course of their academic and social experiences at Hong Kong Baptist University and then determine which graduate attributes can be applied to creating practical and reasonable solutions. This activity, carried out in small or large groups, can take place during the orientation period or shortly after the beginning of the first semester. Then, at the end of their degree programs, students will discuss possible problems in their professional, family, and civic lives after graduation, as well as the solutions that they can develop based on the graduate attributes. This worksheet can also be downloadable from the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning as an accessible resource for all HKBU alumni. It will become a valuable, lifelong checklist for using the attributes not only as theoretical ideals but tools for managing concrete issues in their daily lives.
