1. After the close of all submissions at 00:01 on the 15th of October, 2011, all the received valid submissions will be reviewed by a WPE@HKBU Competition Shortlisting Panel (appointed by HKBU). This Shortlisting Panel shall deliberate and produce a shortlist of their selection (“the Shortlist”).
2. The Shortlist will then be presented to a Judging Panel, which comprises of the President/Vice Chancellor, the Vice Presidents and the Associate Vice Presidents of HKBU, whom will deliberate to select the top three winners of the WPE @ HKBU Competition.
3. At the time the Shortlisting Panel has finalised the Shortlist, but before the Judging Panel has made their decision, this Shortlist will also be published online at the http://www.hkbu.edu.hk/wpecompetition/ website for all current staff and students to choose and register their most favourite submission. Should anyone’s submission correspond to the 1st prize winner selected by the Judging Panel, then their name will go into a lucky draw for the chance to win an IPod Touch.

1. This Whole Person Education@HKBU Competition (“Competition”) is open only to all currently enrolled Hong Kong Baptist University (“HKBU”) students and existing HKBU staff.
2. Each eligible participant of this Competition can submit more than one submission, but each submission must be a unique and different product/design.
3. Each submission must be an individual’s work and no group submission is allowed.
4. All submissions must be original and free from infringement of any existing intellectual property rights, including (but not limited to) being copyright free. HKBU accepts no liabilities from the submissions received in this Competition.
5. By the very act of submitting their submissions to this Competition, each eligible participant is assigning a perpetual, royalty free, unlimited, unconditional use and reproduction rights of their submissions to HKBU.
6. HKBU reserves the right to change and amend these Terms and Conditions as it sees fit with no further advance notice.
7. The decision of HKBU in all matters relating to this Competition is final.
