  • To invite students to generate scenario which can be included as learning trail(s) on the AR Trails app.

Submission Format


Submit the following TWO items via the submission link provided in the confirmation email after your application.

One (1) Scenario

  • Must use the PowerPoint template provided (.pptx, .ppt)
  • In English
  • No restriction on the number of slides
  • 2 - 4 choices for each question in the scenario

Scenario Description

  • In Word or pdf format (.docx, .doc, .pdf)
  • In English
  • Maximum 2 pages with font-size 12pt
  • The content could include but not limited to
    • Description of the design of the scenario
    • Description of the design of choices
    • Expected outcomes after the users have gone through the scenario

Grading Criteria


  • Fulfillment of the Submission Requirements
  • Relevance of the scenario to the selected topic
  • Participant’s understanding of the selected topic
  • Content (Organisation, Design of choices, Explanation and Language)
  • Graphic Design
  • Navigation within the scenario

*All winning scenarios will be uploaded to the AR Trails app after the competition.

Yes, you can apply individually or as a team. If you apply for a team, only one person is required to register in the application and specify the name(s) with the personal information of your team member(s) in the application form.

Please email the relevant information in text format to chtl@hkbu.edu.hk. The personal information collected from you will be kept confidential. We will help you submit the information and you will receive a confirmation email within 2 working days upon successful application.

Please check all inboxes including the "junk" or "spam" folder. If it is not found two working days after submitting your application, please try to resubmit and make sure you have provided the correct email address.

If the confirmation email is still not received, please email to chtl@hkbu.edu.hk specifying your email address, application form submission date, and time. We will follow up accordingly.

Please email us via chtl@hkbu.edu.hk and we will prepare you a temporary account to login the AR Trails app.
